Welcome to this new edition of our GGI FYI Auditing, Reporting & Compliance (ARC) Practice Group (PG) Newsletter.
The audit world is in a dynamic state. Sustainability reporting and the related challenges will change our daily working routine. Now is the time to get acquainted with these rules and to get ready to provide advisory services to our clients.
The lead article by Brigitte Jakoby (Jakoby Dr. Baumhof - Wirtschaftsprüfer Steuerberater Rechtsanwälte, Germany) deals with these challenges. I highly recommend reading it. Of course, sustainability reporting will also be part of our ARC Practice Group meeting at the upcoming GGI European Regional Conference in Amsterdam.
Beyond sustainability we have highly interesting articles on new mandatory auditing rules for Russian companies, as well as the accounting for contract assets and liabilities in a business combination from a US perspective.
Our newsletter closes with a very efficient overview on the top ten compliance topics in Europe for the coming years.
