Timothy C. Lynch
Welcome to the Spring edition of the GGI FYI Best Practices for Professional Service Organisations Practice Group. We have so many talented and innovative members at GGI and it is the mission of this Practice Group to create a forum where GGI members can share their best practices with one another so that we can learn from each. Iron sharpens iron!
We have an excellent newsletter for you. In our lead article, you will learn about how a well-designed data strategy can help organisations improve their customer experience by providing a better understanding of customer needs and preferences which leads to increased customer loyalty, repeat business, and increased revenue. You will also get “smarter” by learning more about how blockchain is spearheading the ability of smart contracts to automate workflows and trigger actions leads to tangible benefits for both providers and patients. Other contributors offer insight and resources on the latest trends in our workplace as well as information about how Austria is considering a change to its corporate formation law. You will read about how the US is trying to catch up with Europe in one fell swoop with the adoption of the Corporate Transparency Act, which will be dubbed the “full employment act” by US corporate attorneys. Our PG’s Regional Chair Europe, Ioana Hategan, provides us with insight on how to better work with consultants and yours truly has an article that addresses insight gained from the GGI North American Best Practices Conference in the Bahamas earlier this year.
Every time we put together a newsletter, I am impressed by the insights and wisdom of the GGI membership. I wanted to thank all of our contributors for sharing their expertise and I encourage all of you to follow up with them if you have questions or want to learn more about the information in their article. If you have interest in joining this Practice Group or if you have a best practice that you would like to share with the group via the next newsletter or at one of conferences in 2023, please let me know.
Kind regards
