The emergency takeover of Credit Suisse by UBS has caused this image to totter and damaged the credibility of the Swiss banking sector.Just before, in the US the Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) has been taken over by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) - it was one of the biggest bank failures in the US.
