How wonderful it was to meet so many GGI members in Amsterdam, at our annual European Regional Conference! With 254 participants from 35 countries, this was the largest ever European Regional Conference – beaten only by our World Conferences pre-covid. In this issue of INSIDER, we are pleased to share with you some memories, including the topics and key highlights of this recent inspiring event, attended by our members not only from Europe but also from across the globe.
The next events – the GGI Latin American Regional Conference in Mexico City and the GGI North American Regional Conference in Beverly Hills – are fast-approaching. With varied programmes and charismatic keynote speakers, they promise to be wonderful opportunies for our members to continue to connect. Read in this issue of INSIDER what to expect at those conferences, as well as other events planned for the autumn and already open for registration.

Chris Biggs (Theta Global Advisors, UK) highlights the importance of considering accounting workstreams in a deal. Andrzej Tokaj (Penteris, Poland) took time out to reflect on the global energy crisis. Richard Collins (CSR-A, UK), well-known to many GGI members as he was a keynote speaker at last year's GGI European Regional Conference in Limassol, supports us in navigating a complex sustainability landscape. Samet Arslan (Financial Axis Independent Audit & Consulting Inc, Turkey) introduces his country's Green Deal Action Plan.
For our members only, we have included information on the GGI Practice Group FYI Newsletters which will be published in time for the GGI World Conference in Lisbon, Portugal, in October. It may still seem like plenty of time, but please make sure you reserve your article space in at least one of the PG newsletters as soon as you can. Don’t hesitate – do it now!
