Mexico City is a captivating destination that offers a perfect blend of rich history, cultural heritage, and modernity. With its vibrant atmosphere, world-class facilities, and diverse attractions, this is an ideal location to gather with your GGI fellows. It is also conveniently located and easily accessible from major international destinations. Our event will be held at the Hyatt Regency Mexico City.
As one of the oldest and most culturally diverse cities in the Americas, Mexico City is brimming with historical landmarks and cultural treasures. From the awe-inspiring ruins of Teotihuacan to the magnificent architecture of the Metropolitan Cathedral and the National Palace, attendees will have the opportunity to explore centuries of Mexican history. The city's numerous museums, such as the National Museum of Anthropology, Palacio de Bellas Artes, and the Frida Kahlo Museum, offer insights into the vibrant art and culture of Mexico. Create memorable and enriching experiences by exploring the treasures of this fabulous city with your GGI colleagues.
Mexico City is also a food lover's paradise, renowned for its exquisite culinary scene. From street food vendors serving mouth-watering tacos and tamales to upscale restaurants offering gourmet Mexican cuisine, attendees will savour a variety of flavours and regional specialties.
The city also boasts several markets, such as Mercado de San Juan and Mercado Roma, where visitors can explore a wide array of fresh produce, spices, and traditional ingredients.
As a hub of creativity and artistic expression, Mexico City offers a vibrant arts and entertainment scene. If you have some additional time prior or after our event, we recommend to indulge in world-class performances at iconic venues like the Palacio de Bellas Artes or enjoy live music and traditional dance at the Plaza Garibaldi.
We look forward to meeting many GGI members from Latin America, and also members from anywhere else with business interests in the region.

GGI member firms Ervin Cohen & Jessup (ECJ) and Prager Metis International are very much looking forward to hosting this conference at the stunning Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel (made particularly well known by Julia Roberts and Richard Gere in the movie, Pretty Woman). Both firms have been very hands-on in helping us to put together a programme that will showcase the best that California has to offer, including a little bit of sand between your toes for the closing dinner on Saturday night. They're looking forward to welcoming you, so make sure you reach out to your contacts in these firms for travel and gourmet recommendations.
On the Thursday, prior to the actual start of the event, there will be an opportunity for GGI Women to connect at a Networking Lunch, which will be hosted by Leslie Berkoff (Moritt Hock & Hamroff LLP, NY, USA), Elisabeth Colson (Devry Smith Frank LLP, Toronto, ON, Canada) and Amy Seneshen (Welborn Sullivan Meck & Tooley, Denver, CO, USA). Hosted by GGI member firm Flattum & Co, this year's GGI Nordic-Baltic Meeting will once again be held in Oslo, Norway, and certainly feels like a personal invitation from Knut Einar Rishovd and his wife Inger. If you attended the same event in 2016, you would have already been impressed by their incredible hospitality … and can pretty much expect more of the same.
Our meeting will be held at the Grand Hotel Oslo – best known as the annual venue for the winner of the Nobel Peace Prize.
This event, which will be run in English, will begin on Thursday evening with a Welcome Reception and Dinner in the hotel. We hope to use the same ballroom that is normally used for the Nobel Peace Prize dinners. On Friday evening, to close the event officially, you will have a little taste of Norwegian cuisine at Solsiden Restaurant.
Although the event ends in time for you to return home for the weekend, we are planning to have a few sightseeing options on the Saturday for those who would like to stay on to enjoy Oslo. There will be an optional dinner once again at Knut and Inger's home on Saturday evening – but there are only limited spaces available so do sign up sooner rather than later. You won't regret it.
Beyond the event itself, Oslo offers a wealth of attractions and experiences to enjoy. From its stunning natural landscapes and architectural wonders to its rich cultural heritage and vibrant culinary scene, Oslo has something for everyone. Take advantage of your visit to the city by exploring its iconic landmarks, immersing yourself in the local culture, and enjoying the warmth of Norwegian hospitality. This well-rounded experience will enrich your networking journey and create lasting memories.
While this event has been planned to pull our members in the Nordic-Baltic region together, it is open to all GGI members who have business interests in these countries or who are simply interested in joining in the networking.
Reserve your spot today at what promises to be another unforgettable networking event in Oslo.
Early Bird Registration deadline extended to 31 May 2023.
For those German-speakers in our global alliance, which certainly extends beyond the traditional “DACH” region, we are back in Germany this year for our annual GGI German-Speaking Chapter in the dynamic city of Dusseldorf – kindly hosted by GGI member firms FPS and KSP Stübben & Partner. As you might have guessed, this event is run in German.
Special guest Prof Dr Bernhard Pörksen will look at “Fact and fake. The new power of disinformation in the digital age”, and afterwards GGI members will have the opportunity to share their knowledge and experience during the topical presentations that follow – which might delve into trending topics, emerging technologies, and innovative strategies that are shaping the business landscape. This will be a terrific time to participate in lively discussions, interact, ask questions, and gain valuable insights that can give you a competitive edge in your industry. Engaging in meaningful conversations will inspire you and expand your knowledge base.
The event will be held at the Living Hotel De Medici, in the heart of the historic old town.
Dusseldorf, North Rhine-Westphalia’s state capital, is known for its rich history, vibrant culture, and thriving business scene, provides an exceptional backdrop for our meeting. We will explore jointly some of the city's treasures during a guided walk on Saturday afternoon. Let’s jointly explore the blend of modernity and tradition, amazing architecture, and cosmopolitan lifestyle at the Rhine.
On Sunday morning, we have planned an additional excursion to the enchanting Benrath Castle. Immerse yourself in its captivating architecture and stroll with your GGI colleagues through the picturesque gardens. We will close the event with a lunch at this hidden gem.
Having just returned from our largest ever European Regional Conference, we're delighted to now be able to invite you to join us in Lisbon, Portugal, for the GGI World Conference 2023. This is where you'll get to meet our members from all over the world, and where we reveal the winners of the GGI Member Firm of the Year Awards.
Lisbon is a most special city, on the edge of Europe and straddling seven hills. The people are so genuinely friendly and blissfully laidback. We don't know that you'll have enough time to experience the riches and wonders of this ancient and majestic city, but we've certainly planned quite a number of tours to make sure that you get at least a taste. After all, this was where – in the 15th and 16th centuries – Lisbon certainly benefited from its strategic geographical position at the mouth of the Tagus, the longest river in the Iberian Peninsula, and the Kingdom of Portugal accumulated their great wealth and power through the colonisation of Asia, South America, Africa and the Atlantic islands.
We hope that you'll be able to join us, and to connect once again with your GGI colleagues from all over the world.
Our sponsoring host firm in this city is GPA Law Firm, whose offices are a mere stone's throw away from the conference hotel. They would like to invite you to visit them prior to the Welcome Reception, so make sure you arrive early enough to do so.
