MHH opens southeast Florida office
SYRACUSE, NY, USA, 17 May 2023 — GGI member firm Dannible & McKee, LLP, a certified public accounting and consulting firm, is pleased to announce the promotion of Kevin M. Didio, CPA, CISA, to Audit Partner in the firm effective 01 July 2023.
Didio works in the firm’s assurance and audit practice, providing accounting, assurance and advisory services to both private and publicly held domestic and foreign companies. He works with a wide range of companies and concentrates on manufacturing, life sciences, technology, logistics, and consumer & retail. He is responsible for planning and managing multiple engagement teams through the performance of audits, reviews and compilations for the firm’s clients.
Since joining the firm, Didio has been instrumental in growing Dannible & McKee’s Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB)/Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) compliance and reporting services for publicly traded companies. He also provides specialised services that help clients to strengthen internal controls and implement comprehensive risk management across their full technology infrastructure.
Didio is a certified public accountant, a certified information systems auditor (CISA), a credential from the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), and a certified system and organizational controls (SOC) auditor. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA). He earned his master’s degree in professional accounting from Syracuse University and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Ithaca College.

GGI member firm Moritt Hock & Hamroff (MHH) is pleased to announce the opening of their new office in the Fort Lauderdale, Florida metropolitan area serving the southeast Florida market. The office is supported by four attorneys from the Florida-based law firm of Ritter & Chusid, including one of its founders, Gregory J. Ritter, who joins as a partner. Joining with Greg are Gary Rosner as partner, Evan Rosenberg as counsel, and Olivia Retenauer as an associate.
The further expansion of the firm’s presence in southeast Florida with the opening of the Fort Lauderdale office was driven by the increased needs of MHH’s clients and the business it conducts in the Miami to West Palm corridor. The new office will focus on the firm’s core practice areas of litigation, real estate, commercial lending, dispute resolution, and trusts and estates, and is their first fully staffed office outside of New York. This expansion continues the significant and measured growth of MHH since 2017, which has included their emerging New York City presence and the growth of their trusts & estates and corporate practices following the acquisition of attorney groups in both practice areas.

Moss & Barnett is pleased to announce that shareholder and family law attorney, James J. Vedder, was elected President of the Minnesota Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML MN). Jim’s term as President began on 07 June 2023, and will run for two years. Jim previously served as President Elect from 2021-2023. AAML-MN helps to educate Minnesota family lawyers, propose legislation on important family law initiatives, and discuss up and coming trends in the law.
