Andrzej Tokaj appointed as interim Global Chair for the GGI Real Estate Practice Group

Paul Simmons, Senior Partner with GGI member firm Haines Watts, and Global Chair of GGI’s Real Estate Practice Group has announced during the GGI World Conference in Lisbon, Portugal, that he will move on to another firm with effect from January 2024. His new firm will not be a GGI member, so Paul sadly needs to leave the Real Estate Practice Group.
We sincerely thank Paul for all his commitment for GGI and the Real Estate Practice Group, and wish him all the best for his new adventures.
Andrzej Tokaj, Senior Partner of GGI member firm Penteris (Warsaw, Poland) has kindly agreed to take over from Paul. He has been appointed as interim Global Chairperson of the Real Estate Practice Group, effective 01 January 2024. (The next round of elections for the Global Leadership Teams of most GGI Practice Groups will be held in Autumn 2024.)
Andrzej joined GGI with Penteris in 2020 and has attended most of GGI’s conferences and many Practice Group meetings since. Within GGI he is well-known as an active, competent, and reliable person with strong interpersonal skills and thorough knowledge of the industry. Andrzej’s professional background shows well his international bounds.
Penteris has a great long track record of advising various clients in Real Estate and Construction.
Andrzej is keen on strengthening communications amongst members of the Real Estate Practice Group, and appointing Regional (Vice) Chairs. He strongly believes that it is vital to stay connected in between conferences.
