GGI - 30 years of excellence: Reflecting on the past, inspiring the future
As we open the first pages of 2025, this year marks an extraordinary milestone: the 30th anniversary of our global alliance GGI. Established in 1995 with a vision to connect trusted, independent firms worldwide, GGI has grown into a thriving community spanning continents, cultures, and disciplines. This year, we celebrate three decades of shared achievements, mutual support, joint experiences, laughs, hugs, and unwavering dedication to delivering excellence.
The journey of the past 30 years is a testament to the strength of our collective vision. We’ve navigated through periods of rapid globalisation, technological evolution, and shifting regulatory landscapes.
Together, we have built an alliance where collaboration and innovation are not just aspirations but cornerstones of our success.
2024: A year of challenges and progress
Last year was emblematic of the agility and forward-thinking mindset that defines us. The continued rise of artificial intelligence and data-driven solutions reshaped our professions, presenting both opportunities and ethical responsibilities. GGI member firms tackled the complexities of global tax reform, particularly with advancements in the OECD’s two-pillar solution, while responding to the growing demand for ESG compliance and advisory services. These challenges required expertise, adaptability, and collaboration – all hallmarks of GGI.
2025: A year to celebrate and redefine
While anniversaries are a time for reflection, they are also an opportunity to look ahead. As we mark this 30th year, our focus must be on the future: How can we build on the foundation of trust and excellence we’ve established? How do we continue to lead in an ever-changing global landscape? These and further questions will be discussed during GGI’s 2025 conferences. Read what to expect during our anniversary year and save the dates already scheduled for upcoming GGI gatherings.
In this edition, we warmly welcome our new member firms, and share member firms’ highlights, success stories and achievements. Stay updated on recent highlights from your fellow GGI colleagues.
