We are excited to invite the next generation of GGI professionals to an engaging and forward-looking GGI EasyMeet, taking place during 04–06 September 2025 in Helsinki, Finland.
The meeting is open to all young professionals from member firms. Over three days, participants will engage in interactive activities and expert group sessions, designed to deepen relationships and promote international exchange. Whether you’re a junior associate, newly qualified auditor, or rising talent in your firm, this event is your chance to build lasting connections with peers, share experiences, and lay the foundation for future cross-border projects.
At the same time and venue, we’ll also host the Nordic-Baltic Meeting, bringing together members from the region to exchange views, share insights, and strengthen collaboration within the area. GGI members from other regions, with an interest in the Nordic-Baltic countries, are also kindly invited to join this event.
Combining the two events creates a unique opportunity for young professionals and seasoned members to meet informally, fostering a stronger, more connected network within GGI.
Past Nordic-Baltic meetings have demonstrated warm, welcoming hospitality, combined with a hard-headed, ambitious and focused work approach. An engaging spirit of getting things done shaped the gathering of minds.
Helsinki, Finland's vibrant capital, will provide the perfect backdrop for a dynamic gathering that focuses on connection, collaboration, and future cooperation.
It seamlessly blends modern innovation with rich cultural heritage. Situated along the Baltic Sea, the city boasts architectural gems like the neoclassical Helsinki Cathedral and the unique rock-hewn Temppeliaukio Church. Jointly explore with your GGI fellows the bustling Market Square, enjoy panoramic views from the SkyWheel, or unwind in the serene surroundings of the UNESCO-listed Suomenlinna Sea Fortress. With its lively design scene, culinary delights, and proximity to nature, Helsinki offers a memorable experience for you.
The event in Finland is kindly sponsored by Rantalainen Accounting Services Ltd. We encourage you to connect with them before and during your time in Finland.
Members can access the full programme and register online by following the link to the micro-website from the internal area of our website.
This year marks a significant milestone for our global alliance — our 30th anniversary. To commemorate this achievement and jointly remember the fun times and milestones of our history, we are thrilled to invite GGI members from around the world to another #ggihomecoming conference. This event promises to be a unique blend of professional development, cultural exploration, and strengthened camaraderie. We sincerely thank our Swiss GGI member firms, who have come together to sponsor this event: Bratschi AG, Treuhand- und Revisionsgesellschaft Mattig-Suter & Partner, Schweizerische Treuhandgesellschaft, Trewitax GmbH, USTAXFS.
A city that inspires
Nestled between the serene waters of Lake Zurich and the majestic Swiss Alps, Zurich offers a picturesque setting for our gathering. Most Global Practice Group Chairs know Zurich fairly well, as we meet once a year for a weekend on the shore of river Limmat. The city's rich history is reflected in its well-preserved medieval Old Town, while its modern side boasts world-class museums, cutting-edge architecture, and a vibrant culinary scene. With efficient public transport and a welcoming atmosphere, Zurich is the perfect backdrop for our international gathering this year.
Before we get too busy with everything, the Swiss host firms have planned a cocktail hour (plus a bit more time) for all those who are coming in early, on Wednesday 29 October. So far, we have nearly 150 sign-ups for this, so we know it's going to be quite the warm up party!
On 29 and 30 October, the German-Speaking Chapter offers a platform for our German-speaking members to connect and build a solid foundation for collaboration. As a keynote speaker, we will have Beat F. Eberle, a lawyer admitted to the bar in Switzerland and a public notary in the canton of St Gallen. As a former police chief responsible for security at the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Brigadier General of the Swiss Armed Forces, Diplomat and Global Head of Security of a major Swiss bank, he is conversant in all aspects of security and defense. He develops integral security concepts for companies, and pays particular attention to decision-making under pressure and successful crisis management.
The World Conference will begin on Thursday, with a lunch for our GGI Women, followed by some of our Expert Group meetings and of course an Understanding GGI session for all new members, candidate firms, and any GGI members attending an event for the first time.
We have a very exciting conference planned for you, not just with the plenary session and the expert group sessions but also beyond the business meetings at our social events, where you will have the opportunity to immerse yourselves in Zurich's rich cultural offerings.
A memorable evening awaits you for our Gala Dinner at the Kunsthaus Zürich, Switzerland's largest art museum. The museum's extensive collection spans from the Middle Ages to contemporary art, with works by renowned artists such as Monet, Picasso, and Giacometti. Dining here provides an opportunity to appreciate art in a truly immersive environment. As usual, we will announce our GGI Member Firm of the Year Awards … after which we promise you that we will dance the night away.
Looking ahead
As we celebrate three decades of collaboration, this conference serves as both a reflection on our shared achievements and a platform to set the course for the future. By coming together in Zurich, we reaffirm our commitment to excellence, innovation, and mutual support. We look forward to welcoming you to this landmark event, where knowledge, culture, and friendship converge.
Join us in Zurich to celebrate 30 years of our alliance and to shape the future of our professions together.
Bangkok: A city of vibrant energy and timeless charm
Still some time to go, in December, our Asia-Pacific Regional Conference will take place in one of Asia’s most dynamic and captivating cities — Bangkok, Thailand. It might be a well-known conference venue for many of you, as we return rather often to this vibrant city.
Known for its rich culture, buzzing street life, and warm hospitality, Bangkok offers a unique blend of tradition and modernity that promises an unforgettable experience for all attendees. From the moment you arrive, you’ll feel the city’s vibrant pulse. Golden temples, bustling markets, and world-class cuisine make Bangkok a place of discovery at every corner. Among the must-see highlights is the Grand Palace, a masterpiece of Thai architecture and spiritual significance, home to the revered Emerald Buddha. Just nearby lies Wat Pho, where the majestic Reclining Buddha awaits.
Beyond its historic treasures, Bangkok is a true modern metropolis. Its skyscrapers, rooftop bars, and luxury malls sit side-by-side with floating markets and local eateries. Whether you're exploring the lively streets of Chinatown, cruising the Chao Phraya River, or enjoying authentic Thai food in a street-side stall or a Michelin-starred restaurant, Bangkok never ceases to impress.
December is the perfect time to visit, with pleasant weather and festive energy in the air. The city’s lively nightlife, colourful tuk-tuks, and welcoming people create a setting ideal for networking, learning, and cultural exchange.
Our Asia-Pacific Regional Conference will be held in the heart of the city, allowing participants to experience both professional enrichment and Bangkok’s unforgettable charm. It’s not just a meeting — it’s an opportunity to connect with colleagues, explore new perspectives, and immerse yourself in one of Asia’s most exciting destinations.
We look forward to welcoming you to Bangkok in December! Save the dates already, registrations will open very shortly.
