Embracing the future together
As we move into the final months of the year, we continue to be energised by the momentum building across GGI. This issue of the GGI INSIDER reflects that energy – evident through new connections, expert insights, and a growing sense of purpose as we work together across borders.
We’re especially excited to highlight this month’s GGI EasyMeet and GGI Nordic-Baltic Meeting, which took place in Helsinki, Finland, during 04 – 06 September. This unique combination of meetings not only reflects the collaborative spirit of our alliance but also underscores our commitment to empowering the next generation of professionals. EasyMeet remains a key platform for younger voices to be heard, supported, and integrated into our global vision.Looking ahead, the GGI World Conference in Zurich (30 October to 02 November 2025) promises to be a cornerstone event. Gathered together in this beautiful and dynamic Swiss city, we’ll dive deep into topics shaping our industries, reconnect with colleagues from all over the world, and celebrate GGI’s 30th anniversary. For those joining us in Asia, we’re thrilled to announce our Asia-Pacific Regional Conference in Bangkok, Thailand this December is open for registration – an opportunity to expand perspectives in one of the region’s most vibrant cities.
In this issue, we proudly welcome new member firms to GGI, further strengthening our global alliance.
We also feature articles from GGI member firm experts, offering insights into emerging trends and latest developments: Manfred Leitinger (Prodinger, Austria) provides an update on new taxation rules regarding the transfer of shares in real estate companies. Anita Tulak (NTAX, Poland) explores the impact of “abuse of verification activities by tax authorities in Poland”. Konrad Gańczarczyk (Penteris, Poland) draws our attention to the hidden tax traps of remote work in Poland.
