GGI YITPG: An attractive forum for GGI junior tax professionals
The ITPG leadership team plans to reactivate the Young International Taxation Practice Group (YITPG), offering a platform for future tax leaders of GGI member firms. The YITPG plans to offer regular webinars and low-budget, in-person meetings, a format tailored specifically for junior tax professionals within GGI.
This initiative will provide a dedicated platform for talented young professionals who may not typically have the opportunity to attend larger GGI conferences. Virtual meetings will support international connections, enhance professional development, and facilitate the exchange of ideas in a cost-efficient and accessible way.
The primary goal of this forum is to bring together like-minded, junior tax professionals from GGI member firms across the globe. By focusing on selected topics related to international taxation, participants will have the chance to deepen their technical knowledge, broaden their perspective on cross-border tax issues, and learn from peers in different jurisdictions.
Participation in the YITPG will also serve as a valuable incentive for emerging talent. Offering a new platform to grow professionally and build a global network, YITPG will support GGI member firms in retaining and developing future leaders in international tax. This reinforces GGI’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of experts by encouraging collaboration, knowledge sharing, and ongoing learning.
YITPG sessions will be organised on a regular basis, and designed to be interactive, practical, and relevant to the daily work of junior tax professionals. We look forward to building a strong community where young tax professionals can connect and thrive together.
