Let's meet in Zurich to celebrate 30 years of global collaboration!
So far, there are already over 300 participants signed up for this event. If you haven't registered, please do so sooner rather than later. There are very limited spaces left.
For this very special conference, you will be excited to hear that we have a couple of very special social events and dinners planned besides our usual Welcome Reception & Dinner on the Thursday evening.
On the Wednesday 29 October, prior to the start of the German-Speaking Chapter, our local sponsoring host firms – Bratschi AG, Treuhand- und Revisionsgesellschaft Mattig-Suter & Partner, STG Schweizerische Treuhandgesellschaft Gruppe (Swiss Trust Company), Trewitax and USTAXFS – would like to invite all early arrivals to join them for Pre-Cocktail Drinks at the Park Hyatt. Those not attending the German-Speaking Chapter are also invited to stay on for more networking and a flying dinner, sponsored by USTAXFS. If you are interested in attending the dinner and you haven't already RSVP'd, please email GGI Head Office to book a space.
With the FIFA World Cup 2026 running in North America, we thought it would be the perfect time to hold our Informal Dinner on Friday evening 31 October in the FIFA Museum. The dress code will be smart casual BUT we encourage you to show your true colours and wear your country's football (soccer) jersey.
On Saturday evening, 01 October, our usual black tie Closing Gala Dinner will be held in the Chipperfield extension of the Kunsthaus Zürich. We won't have time to show you the museum's collection (which includes major works by Claude Monet, Edvard Munch, Pablo Picasso, and Alberto Giacometti – as well as other works by Vincent van Gogh, Édouard Manet, Henri Matisse and René Magritte), so we encourage you to find the time to visit this space during any spare time you might be able to find during your visit to our city.
Of course, we will be presenting the GGI Member Firm of the Year Awards during our Closing Gala Dinner, but we also have some “old friends” from previous conferences who will be joining us for the evening. Be prepared to be wowed, and make sure you bring your dancing shoes.
Registration is open for one of our favourite destinations in Asia.
As the Asia Pacific base of GGI, Bangkok holds a special place in our hearts ... and we love returning to this Southeast Asian city every other year.
This year, our Asia Pacific Regional Conference will be held in the Peninsula Hotel on the Chao Phraya River, allowing you to experience both professional enrichment and Bangkok’s unforgettable charm. Every room in this hotel overlooks the river – and during these lush, verdant months, you'll find the city refreshed. The ancient temples gleam more brightly, the gardens bloom in abundance, and the river shimmers in renewed calm. It's a magical time of the year to experience the cultural treasures, enticing flavours, and peaceful beauty that defines Bangkok.
With this in mind, we have booked a couple of tours that will allow you to experience the city's vibrant history and culture.
Prior to the start of the conference, there will be the opportunity to network informally with other early arrivals during a tour that covers the “Colours of Bangkok”. Enjoy a tuk tuk ride enroute to China Town and the Royal Palace. You will stop at Thailand's largest flower market, Pak Khlong Talat (Bangkok Flower Market), which is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Take in the enormous reclining Buddha and the Chedis of Thailand's previous Kings at Wat Pho, before returning to the hotel.
On the Saturday, as is tradition with this regional conference and at no additional cost, the whole group will experience various “Bangkok Arts & Museums”. The first stop will be the Bangkok National Museum, the main museum that is part of the National Museums in Thailand and also one of the largest museums in Southeast Asia, featuring exhibits of Thai art and history. The museum occupies the former palace of the Vice King. Next, you will visit the Museum of Siam -- a discovery museum that was created to showcase the national identity and the history of the people of Thailand, and their relationships with the neighbouring cultures. The motto of the museum is "Play+Learn" (which means joyously, in Thai). Through a series of interactive exhibits, you will see the development of Thailand from the past to the present. Following lunch, ride an express boat cruise to the Royal Barge Museum. The royal barges are often part of the Royal Barge Processions on the Chao Phraya River, and each barge is taken care of very carefully by the Fine Arts Department under the supervision of the Bureau of the Royal Household and Royal Navy. The boat will bring you back to the hotel afterwards for a little rest before dinner.
As usual, but unlike most of our larger events, this conference has ample space for members to present to one another. If you are interested in making a presentation to your GGI colleagues, please contact Linda Soriton at GGI Head Office when you register.
While this event is for our regional members to get together, it is also open to all other members who have (or who would like to develop) business interests in the region. We hope that you will be able to join us.
Registration is open via the internal area of the GGI website.
